OLD IS BEAUTIFUL

Have you ever imagined yourself in 30-40 years? It's funny how, when doing it, we always try to get a physical portrait of ourselves, wondering about the looks, not the mind. Anyway, when we try to imagine ourselves in a far future, it's always a vision of only older versions of us. Same clothes, same haircuts, same everything, just "a bit" older :) When we stumbled upon this editorial from Ponystep Magazine we felt like "bingo", that's the future!

What's your picture of yourself?

GRACE'S MEMOIR

GRACE CODDINGTON In a few months we will be able to be in Grace Coddington's shoes for a while with her upcoming book "Memoir". A publisher says it's going to be released in November so to make the waiting less hard Grace has decided to show us the cover!

Because of the cover picture we couldn't help ourselves but make this comparison. The Spring/Summer 2011 70's inspired collection of Marc Jacobs had strong influences of the French master Yves Saint Laurent. But it's easy to notice a resemblance to someone... Guess who?

ELLE'S EPOQUE

ELLE FANNING When we were 13 the world was quite a different place. Certainly in terms of how we would perceive it at that time. We were entering the era of grunge, so we looked like we didn't care about how we looked and probably most of us seriously didn't pay any attention. Anyway the world has changed and now even teenagers are under pressure of being stylish and sophisticated. Some of them are lucky enough to be dressed by Rodarte or Marc Jacobs. We are not going to hide the fact that we are extremely jealous!

Elle for Lula

If we had to make a chart of the most stylish teenagers, we would definitely choose Elle Fanning. We admire her creativity, girlieness and quirkness at the same time. She's a good fashion player with a great imagination. No wonder that she's being dressed by the most amazing designers, sporting such pieces as Valentino or Rodarte. We wouldn't mind having her as a younger sister from whom we would steal all the great clothing...

Elle for Interview Magazine

She's been known as an actress for a while but until Sophia Coppola's "Somewhere" she was recognisable as Dakota Fanning's younger sister. Thanks to the part she became a persona of her own and a daring to the fashion world: she took part in a short movie by Rodarte for Spring/Summer 2011 collection and also became a face of Marc by Marc Jacobs. It's hard to count the amount of editorials she was featured in!

Elle's choices for the red carpet are always stunning and well chosen. We especially love the cream Valentino dress!

With all the great success she has achieved we can definitely say now it's Elle's Epoque!
