ERIN FETHERSTON She's a one whimsical lady worth knowing and following. Her New York based eponymous label is a must destination for all the women who want to discover a romantic and magical side of fashion. Her ultrafeminine collections are charming, pretty, making us smile and want more! There are plenty of reasons to like her, so we decided to speak just about the most important. Let's admire her together!

Of course, she's a hardworking woman but she still manages to have this fairy tale aura around her. The way she looks and lives is a proof that to run a business you don't need to be a tough armored in pant suit Xena (well... probably you should but it's nice to believe the opposite).

Is it a palace? La Petit Trianon? Oh, no! It's Erin's stunning apartment. We are literally considering getting hired as her help...

Just like her collections, Erin Fetherston's apartment is an epithome of femininity and subtleness. It also shows her whimsical taste with tiny decoration details. At first glance it looks classic but with the second you can notice all the funny pieces that make it magical.

If someone needs to understand Erin's label he should first turn to its creator, Erin herself. She's a living ad for her designs and we find it daring and honest. If the designer feels good in her own clothing it's the best recommendation for his collection.
We may sound creepy but Erin's hair are really something! The rumour says that she cut her famous bangs at David Mallet's salon in Paris. Whoever did it, it's been with her for years and has become her signature.
We love the way she wears her braid. The picture was made on a backstage of her Fall/Winter 2011 show where the models had the exact hair. Cute!
This season Erin had her hair cut into a girlie bob.

At last, that's what she's doing for living and making us happy. Finally there is a designer who understands what a perfect dress means. She's not a trend creator or follower, Erin is simply true to her personal taste: sparkling, glittery, happy, very feminine with a dash of 70's disco.
Erin was born in San Francisco but she polished her skills in Paris at Parson's School of Design. After graduation she presented her debut collection during the Paris Haute Couture shows in 2005. She won everyone's attention thanks to romantic and feminine pieces, suitable for red carpet events. Two years later she moved to New York to show her collection at New York Fashion Week.
Erin's work was appreciated by American Vogue: she became a finalist of 2007 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund. In 2009 she was appointed its member. In 2010 she was tapped by Juicy Couture as a guest designer. Her mission was to refresh the brand's image that for years has been glued to unfamous tracksuits.
Today Erin Fetherston works on her Erin by Erin Fetherston label. Her gorgeous pieces are available in several luxury boutiques and online store on www.erinfetherston.com.
