PARIS PART 2

ISABEL MARANT is known for being a favourite designer of all the cool girls. This  time she reached for something more soft with a vintage twist to it. Wild West is not as wild as we might have thought. Cat Balou and Calamity Jane came to Paris straight to Marant's runway. All the cute handmade embroidery on silk blouses with tiny collars and white lace dresses made us want to time travel! Of course, there were loose but skinny trousers rolled up above ankles, stilettos and superminis, all significant for Isabel Marant. Still, she has given us some fantasy we can dream about.

MANISH ARORA is always about fun. This time he mixed couture with street art. Guests of the show could experience a lift act graffiti painted by Parisian artists Rude, Vizion and Broke. We believe his collection is the art of clothes... and the clothes of art. That's it.

ALEXANDER MCQUEEN Ethereal. It's the one word that comes to our minds when we look at McQueen's feathers, ruffles, full dresses decorated with tiny golden fringes. It's ultimately unreal, we believe the stunning white dresses would be the choice of Childlike Empress from "Neverending Story" if she'd exist.

MIU MIU Do you remember that guy? Miuccia Prada has come to so many inspirations in her career (she even did "Lolita"!) but she's always managed to surprise. The seventies' pantsuits with Art Noveau prints mixed altogether, ties, chunky loafers and oxford shoes, platforms, flared cuts and "the eye" makeup were all so strongly significant for the Stanley Kubrick's "Clockwork Orange".
